Here is a basic layout of how the ranks work. If you have any questions, please ask.
Alpha Male and Female-This is the highest rank throughout ALL of the pack. They are to be respected by EVERYONE. If you want to challenge the Alpha(s) for position, do so knowing that they got the rank for a reason.
Heirs-Heirs are the sons and daughters of the Alpha, making them the future leaders. When they come of age, they will gain the pack instead of the Beta when the Alphas either step down, or are killed.
Beta-This is the second highest rank throughout all of the pack. They have been choosen by their Alpha because they know that if the Alpha(s) were to be gone for a period of time, the Beta would take care of it. If you challenge them for position, also know that this wolf if very powerful due to their position.
Hunters-These wolves hunt down prey as a group for the pack. It is a very important position, and one that should be given to only the wolves that are of strength, and youth, but not too young, or too many injuries.
Messenger-The messenger is the fastest wolf in the pack. He or she is needed to carry messages to other packs incase of emergency, or otherwise.
Pup Siter-The one who watches over the young pups in the time when their parents are away, dead, or otherwise. Though it is not an important position, it is one that should be chosen with great heed. They are especially needed during war.
Omega-This is the lowest rank in the Pack. You may treat them with disrespect, above the bar of that which is killing them.
-Spy (Two) [Usually birds] Spies may work for either side of the disputing tribes.
-Assassin (Three) [Must work sepratly, but know what each other are doing] Assassins work for BOTH sides of the dispute, as they are loners to the original pack.
-Warrior (There can be many) Each side has warriors, who are usually trained from the top-ranking hunters.
If you think any other ranks need to be added, do bring this up, and we will talk about it.
